Affiliate Disclosure
Transparency in plain English: doghousecasino.us is a reader-supported, independent editorial site. When you click certain outbound “Play Now” links and sign up with a partner, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never decides what we write.
Short version: Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up, we may be paid a commission by the operator or its affiliate network. You do not pay anything extra. Our editorial team decides what to publish independently of any commercial relationship. We follow the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides and the Sponsored content guidance from Google Search Essentials.
1. Why this page exists
U.S. law (the Federal Trade Commission Act and the FTC Endorsement Guides) requires websites that recommend products to clearly and conspicuously disclose any material connection with the advertiser. This Affiliate Disclosure, together with the sponsored-link labels on the site itself, is that disclosure for doghousecasino.us.
2. How affiliate links work on this site
- You read a review, guide, or comparison on our site.
- If you decide to try the operator we have reviewed, you click a Play Now button or a similar outbound link.
- Your click is tracked by the operator’s affiliate network (for example, track.magicclick.partners).
- If you sign up and, in some programs, make a qualifying purchase or first deposit, the operator pays us a commission.
- You pay the operator its normal price. Our commission comes out of their marketing budget, not your wallet.
3. How we label affiliate links
Affiliate links on our site are marked in all of the following ways, so that both readers and search engines can identify them:
- Sponsored-link note near the outbound button (e.g. “Sponsored link. 18+. Play responsibly.”).
- HTML attribute
rel="sponsored nofollow"on every affiliate anchor, per Google’s Search Essentials guidance. - New-tab opening (
target="_blank") withnoopener noreferrerfor safety. - Redirect path on our own domain (for example,
doghousecasino.us/go/play/) so affiliate destinations are easy to identify and block at the site level. - This disclosure page, linked from every footer across the site.
4. Who pays us
We may receive compensation from operators whose products we review, either directly or through third-party affiliate networks. Typical partners include, but are not limited to, networks such as magicclick.partners and similar programs common in the U.S. social-casino and sweepstakes sector.
Compensation may take the form of:
- A one-off bounty when a qualifying sign-up occurs.
- A share of the operator’s net revenue from a referred player.
- A flat fee for a time-limited advertising placement clearly labeled as such.
We do not accept payment for positive reviews, star ratings, or favourable ranking positions. We do not accept payment to remove criticism from an existing review.
5. How this affects (and does not affect) our coverage
We are open about the fact that commissions help pay for the site — but the existence of a commission does not dictate what we say. Specifically:
- A positive review is not required for a partnership, and a partnership is not a ticket to a positive review.
- Rankings are based on criteria such as licensing status, eligibility transparency, bonus fairness, app quality, customer support, and responsible-play features — not on payout rates.
- We retain the right to criticize a partner, down-rate them, or remove them from a list if we see clear consumer-protection concerns.
- We publish information that may reduce clicks on our affiliate links (for example, notes about state restrictions, unclear bonus rules, or better-rated competitors) whenever that information serves the reader.
See our Editorial Policy for the full description of how we research, write, and update our content.
6. What you pay
Nothing extra. Clicking an affiliate link from doghousecasino.us does not change:
- The price of any product, coin pack, or bonus offered by the operator.
- The size or terms of any welcome bonus.
- Your rights under the operator’s Terms of Use, Sweepstakes Official Rules, or refund policy.
If an operator offers a better public deal without an affiliate link, you are free to sign up through that route instead.
7. Your privacy when you click
When you click a “Play Now” button, you are redirected through a tracker operated by the affiliate network to the operator’s website. That tracker may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. We do not pass personally identifiable information to affiliate partners. See our Privacy Policy for more on cookies and data handling.
8. Responsible play
Nothing on this site should be read as a promise of profit. Social casinos, sweepstakes casinos, and real-money casinos can all be fun, and they can all become a problem if play stops feeling voluntary. If that happens to you or someone you know:
- Call 1-800-GAMBLER (U.S., 24/7, free, confidential).
- Visit ncpgambling.org or gamblersanonymous.org.
- Use self-exclusion, deposit-limit, and time-limit tools inside the operator’s app.
9. Questions or complaints
If you believe we have failed to disclose a material connection, or you want to know whether a specific link on our site is an affiliate link, contact us at editor@doghousecasino.us. We treat disclosure seriously and will correct any oversight promptly.
This Affiliate Disclosure forms part of our Terms of Use and should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Editorial Policy.
